Welcome

Rev~er~ie (noun) meaning a state of pleasant dreamy thought, one of pure happiness. To be in a Reverie is to be in one of the single most blissful states of being.

And you thought you were just coming in for a pint! At the Reverie we aim to make your visit as enjoyable as possible. Whether you have come in for a good pint of ale, a nip from one of our 60 selection of malts, to taste our delicious and freshly cooked meals, or to listen to one of the varied bands that play here. Either way we hope you leave in a state of Reverie!

Changes to Spring Menu

Apolologies!!! We have had to take the lamb chops off the menu as the quality of lamb was not up to our high standards. Instead the lamb has been replaced with a succulent 7oz pork sirloin. Check out the revised menu on our Food page.

It’s acknowledged we have brainy staff!

CONGRATULATIONS!!!! To our bar manager Gill, and our supervisors Dan and Mark for passing their Level 2 Intermediate Certificate from the Wine & Spirits Education Trust. This means that they have an extensive knowledge of most alcholic beverages, and can recomend the perfect wine to compliment your food and palate. It’s a big thing in the beverage field so they should feel chuffed!!

Happy Valentine’s Day! (Sunday 14th)

Yes it’s that’s time of the year when you suddenly have a panic attack that you haven’t organised anything for Valentine’s Day. Panic not ….. we have the most fantastic Valentine’s menu, which just sounds (and will inevitably taste) gorgeous – click here to check it out. Fear not, taking out your beloved to your local pub won’t be considered as too last minute!

We are setting aside the raised area of the pub solely for romantic couples, and the place will be decked out with all things hearts. Live music is care of Sergio our resident Spanish musician who will be playing romantic love ballets on the guitar (with no cheese in sight!). Let us know if you want to book a table.
