Rev~er~ie (noun) meaning a state of pleasant dreamy thought, one of pure happiness. To be in a Reverie is to be in one of the single most blissful states of being.
And you thought you were just coming in for a pint! At the Reverie we aim to make your visit as enjoyable as possible. Whether you have come in for a good pint of ale, a nip from one of our 60 selection of malts, to taste our delicious and freshly cooked meals, or to listen to one of the varied bands that play here. Either way we hope you leave in a state of Reverie!
You may have noticed all the orange paraphernalia in the window and the Dutch flag over the door. If so you will not be surprised to know that we are supporting the Netherlands during the World Cup – due of course to our Dutch connections! Last Friday was AMAZING in football terms plus the atmosphere in the Reverie where you could just about get through the door. Therefore get here early if you want to watch the Dutch matches!
Bitterballen is served during half time and a free pint of Heineken if The Netherlands win their game!!!
Dutch matches are:
18/06 17:00 – Australia vs Netherlands
23/06 17:00 – Netherlands vs Chile
And then of course quarter, semi and finals ……
Hope to see you here – remember to wear orange!

Sorry that our website did not work for the last couple of weeks.
Our server provider had to do some emergency work and so our website had to be taken down. Apologies if you wanted to find out who was playing at the Reverie or look at our menus etc. Typical that they decide to close down during a busy month!
Hope you enjoy exploring our website once again and hopefully see you soon!

Well this season is the time for MUSSELS at Reverie. We have delicious – and massive in size! – mussels served in three sized portions – starter (1/2kg), main (1kg) or to share (2kg).
The best thing is the sauce – choose either white wine & garlic cream, sauce of the day, or ….. choose one of your favourite recommended beers, have a third used to cook your mussels and then enjoy the remainder with your meal – you can’t get more adventurous than that! Absolutely divine.
